Of Special Note at the ASHP Midyear 2010

Sep 28, 2010

When former ABC World News Tonight co-anchor Bob Woodruff was hit by a roadside bomb in January 2006 while covering the war in Iraq, his life changed instantly. As keynote speakers at ASHP’s Midyear Clinical Meeting in Anaheim, Cal., December 5–9, Woodruff and his wife, Lee, will recount their family’s long journey of recovery.

A new Spotlight on Health Care Reform will feature Mark McClellan, M.D., Ph.D., the former administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services who helped manage the reform of Medicare Part D. Capping off the meeting will be a networking luncheon with Mike Rayburn, known as the “world’s funniest guitar virtuoso.”
