Learning the Ropes of Mentoring

Dec 18, 2009

A RECORD-SETTING 733 participants gathered in Washington, D.C., in August for the 2008 National Residency Preceptors Conference, the only meeting focused exclusively on residency training issues. Preceptors, residency program directors, and residents attended a variety of educational sessions on topics such as generational differences, clinical teaching roles, mentoring, and managing preceptor burnout.
