Take Charge of Pharmacy’s Future!
ARE YOU PASSIONATE about patient care and pharmacy’s future? Do you know someone who is? Consider nominating yourself or a colleague for a position among ASHP’s elected leadership.
ASHP’s president-elect and board members oversee the society’s initiatives and programs, including professional policies, finances, and strategic planning. The chair of the House of Delegates helps manage the activities of ASHP’s policymaking body. ASHP’s treasurer chairs the Committee on Finance and Audit, oversees ASHP assets and funds, and ensures that expenditures match board priorities.

New Online Community Debuts
ASHP recently launched ASHP Connect. This online community features the society’s new blog and a members-only discussion forum that allows members to meet virtually and share ideas and solutions for common practice challenges. Go online to join lively conversations about issues related to health-system pharmacy, contact other members, take part in polls on a variety of subjects, access a calendar of events, share documents, and subscribe to a news feed to keep track of forum topics. The blog features the insights and experiences of ASHP members and staff on a wide range of issues and gives readers an insider’s view of what’s happening at ASHP headquarters.
